Auma Actuator Products

In process technology plants, liquids, gases, vapours, and granulate need to pass through pipelines. Industrial valves are used to inhibit or release medium flow as well as to control the resulting flow rate by opening or closing the valves. AUMA actuators are remotely controlled from the control room to operate valves. Multi-turn actuators: Electric multi-turn actuators by AUMA are used e.g. for the automation of gate valves or globe valves. They are the most versatile products within the AUMA family. Actuators SA and SAR: 10 Nm to 32,000 Nm. Variable speed actuators SAV / SARV

10 Nm to 1,000 Nm. Variable speed actuator SEVEN. 9 Nm - 4,000 Nm.

Auma Part-turn Actuators: Electric part-turn actuators by AUMA are used where an automatic, electrically operated movement at a swing angle of less than 360 ° has to be implemented as it is the case for valves like butterfly and ball valves. Actuators SQ and SQR. 50 Nm to 2,400 Nm. Variable operating time actuators SQV / SQRV. 150 Nm to 2,400 Nm.

FQM/FQMEx Fail safe unit: 150 Nm to 1,200 Nm.

Linear actuators: To perfom linear movements, e. g. in case of globe valves, the Auma multi-turn actuator SA can be combined with the linear thrust unit LE, forming an electric linear actuator. In case a lever arrangement has to be operated, the linear thrust unit can be mounted on a base.

Combinations with linear thrust units: 4 kN to 217 kN Actuators SDL/SDG 2 kN to 15 kN.

Multi-turn gearboxes: Multi-turn gearboxes can be formed by combining multi-turn actuators SA ... with AUMA spur and bevel gearboxes to increase the torque or to reposition the output shaft. The gearboxes can of course also be used on manually operated valves.

Spur gearboxes GST: Spur gearboxes for torques up to 16,000 Nm. With or without second shaft end

Lifetime according to EN 15714-2. High quality corrosion protection with AUMA powder coating.

Bevel gearboxes GK: Bevel gearboxes for torques up to 16,000 Nm. Low-noise and noise-efficient operation with face-hobbed Palloid® gears. Lifetime according to EN 15714-2. High quality corrosion protection.

Multi-turn gearboxes GHT: High-performance worm gearbox for torques up to 120,000 Nm

Lifetime according to EN 15714-2. Sized for AUMA actuators. Used as screw jacks up to a maximum stem diameter of 180 mm. AUMA part-turn gearboxes are used wherever a 90° swivel movement is required for the operation of a valve or damper.

Gearboxes GS: Up to 675,000 Nm. 0° to 190° and multi-turn version. IP68. All types of duty.

Gearboxes GQB: 21,000 Nm to 84,000 Nm. 90° +/-5. IP67. OPEN/CLOSE duty.

Gearboxes GHE: 125 Nm to 1,000 Nm. 82° to 98°. IP67. Manual operation. Controls.

Product selection in favour of actuators with integral controls saves time-consuming project planning, installation, and additional documentation which is required when selecting external controls.

Auma AC: Microprocessor-based controls with comprehensive functions. Explosion-proof versions AC. Ex de IIC/IIB T4 or T3. Ex d IIC/IIB T4 or T3.

AC SIL and ACEx SIL: To be used up to SIL 2, in redundant systems (e.g. "1oo2“) up to SIL 3

Communication systems: Parallel control, fieldbus, or both for reasons of redundancy? When opting for fieldbus, which protocol to use? Irrespective of your decision on the interface, AUMA actuators can be equipped with the suitable interface to match all systems established within process control engineering.
